Syllabus

A., in 1879, imported sugars to which an artificial color was not given after they had been manufactured. Held that, under schedule G, sec. 2504, Rev.Stat., the sole test of their dutiable quality was their actual color, as graded by the Dutch standard, and that they were subject to the duties prescribed by that schedule, with twenty-five percent added thereto pursuant to sec. 3 of the Act of March 3, 1875, c. 125, 18 Stat. 339.
