Syllabus

Under § 2504, Schedule M. of the Revised Statutes (p. 480, 2d ed.), "Henry's Calcined Magnesia," imported in glass bottles, is liable to a duty of 50 percent ad valorem, as being a medicinal preparation recommended to the public as a proprietary medicine, and not to a duty of 12 cents per pound, as calcined magnesia, under the same section and schedule (p. 477).
