Syllabus

The parties to an agreement for arbitration of disputes arising out of a charter party cannot, by stipulation, make unavailable the right of the aggrieved party under § 8 of the United States Arbitration Act to begin his proceeding by "libel and seizure of the vessel . . . according to the usual course of admiralty proceedings."
